I love reading true stories

Yes, I love reading true stories. But . . .
Has quite a bit of vulgar language. A little is fine, but when it's overwhelming that's a bit much! Wish it had been noted somewhere on the book. I know I've been there when I was on my journey. And journeys can take us there. Really, I tried diving into the story, over and over.
I'm sure this story others will embrace . . . so enjoy the read. Truly, I'm not taking away from the journey of this writer, we all them (i.e., journeys). Just not my favor of read for the place, I'm in. I gave the three-star rating for writing and sharing her story.

I purchased this book from the author early in 2015 when it was released. I purchased the book and cards. I then joined actress Nervaina Rhodes 21 day love challenge. We used one of the cards from this book to write affirmations about ourselves. This book and these cards have helped change my life. I recommend them to anyone whose on the path of self development.

A Quick Read!

"Dear Yvette: Shattered Fairytales" was a quick read with great lessons about healing and forgiveness. After I finished reading the book, I bought another copy with the affirmation cards for a teenager who finished the book in one afternoon. She related to the story and appreciated the author's honesty. I highly recommend this book.
